Energy certification qualify a building energy calculating the annual energy consumption necessary to satisfy the energy demand of a building in normal conditions of occupation and operation. (It includes the production of hot water, heating, lighting, cooling and ventilation). The energy certification process concludes with the issuance of a certificate of energy efficiency and allocating a energy label.
The certificate describes energy efficiency in terms of energy consumption. The energy rating of the property is determined by a label. Governed by Royal Decree 235/2013 of April 5, in which the basic procedure is approved for certification of energy efficiency of buildings ?? in force nationwide since 05.14.2013.
